The Wawanesa Lion's Community Park is located along Souris River and is only 3 blocks from downtown.

This well maintained riverside park features an array of playground equipment, and is a natural setting for several activities including fishing, canoeing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling.  It also has picnic areas, open spaces and several camping sites with electrical hook ups. The Park is a wonderful place to sit and talk, or to stay during a visit to Wawanesa.
