About Us

Why do we care....well, the mission of our service is to provide a wide range of programs and services for senior adults to help them maintain their independence and promote their quality of life.

We strive to create opportunities that promote positive attitudes on aging, while acknowledging the dignity and self-worth of an individual. Support Services assist seniors and their families and caregivers to access the resources and services needed to maximize independent living and enhance their quality of life. To be more specific, we offer:

~ Coordination and installation for Lifeline Emergency Response Systems. Serving as a satellite for Lifeline Systems, the Seniors Support Programs help potential clients with the application for, and the installation of, these emergency response units. The program offers assurance to subscribers and family members that continuous assistance is only a button press away.
~ Education on issues related to seniors
~ Home/Yard Help. We keep a listing of Fee for Service workers to assist with grass mowing, housework, laundry, snow removal, etc.
~ Help you get connected to the Home Care Program or Adult Day Program available in various communities.
~ Provide the E.R.I.K. kit free of charge upon request.
~ Help with information on Income Security Programs available through various Government Agencies.
~ Elder Abuse Resource Guide available in our offices
~ First Aid and Fire Safety Tips for Older Adults
