Located in the Wawanesa Lion’s Community Park, the present swimming pool was opened in August 1978. The facility, which includes an outdoor junior Olympic-size heated swimming pool and wading pool, was built by the Lion's Club and then turned over to the pool board. Maintained and managed by this volunteer board, the only paid staff members at the pool are the trained lifeguards to watch the water for everyone’s safety and security. The pool operates in the summer, and the nominal fee goes to maintenance and for the lifeguards. It is a very popular spot on hot days.

Fees:

Adults: $4.00
18 & under: $3.00
4 & under: free

Hours: 1:00 to 8:00 p.m.

During swimming lessons weeks the public swim hours may be changed.
