The Wawanesa Centennial Hall was constructed in 1989
by volunteer labour as part of the Wawanesa Centennial
celebrations. The hall is an advanced facility managed
by a non-profit board, with room for over 400
guests.
The Hall is used for banquets, weddings, musical
productions, and other community events. Patrons are
charged for the rent and prices range depending on the
event.
Adjoining the Hall is the Wawanesa New Horizons
Center. New Horizons is a place
where seniors meet to play games such as cards, pool, or
shuffleboard. It also doubles as a smaller meeting room
when the size of the hall is too large for the
event.
